Hail glorious fried breakfast
On this day of celebrating the national breakfast, the following were had at a private dwelling in Maynooth:

- Pudding, black and white, from Oughterard
- Rashers, sea-salt cure free-range organic bacon
- Sausages, Superquinn brand from Supervalu
- Eggs, free-range

Frying medium was a small knob of butter in each of the three skillets/pans employed. All items arrived on time and were served live and so no oven storing was required.

One of the petitdejeunists present asserted a preference for Clonakilty pudding over the Oughterard pudding provided, but this was very much a minority opinion.
